wELCOME TO THE FAMILY

St. Tammany Pediatrics
If there’s one thing for which the Northshore is known, it’s local residents’ appreciation for family and  the family-first flavor around which so much of our community is built.

Keeping those families happy and healthy is the primary mission of St. Tammany Pediatrics, our full-service pediatrics practice designed to care for patients from birth to 17 years of age. (Established patients are cared for through 18 years of age.)

That includes routine wellness care, including childhood vaccinations, as well as same-day appointments for treatment of illnesses.

Recognized as a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards, our highly trained doctors and nurses additionally pride themselves on creating and maintaining an environment that encourages all children to feel safe and comfortable.

After all, that’s what families are for.

    Autism Accommodations and Support

St. Tammany Health System has created visual supports in the form of “what to expect ” stories and videos to assist autistic individuals/individuals with autism who might find entering the hospital or clinic unsettling and unfamiliar.

Our visual supports, if needed, aim to prepare the autistic individual/individual with autism on what to expect in face-to-face interactions and provide possible choices on what to do when overstimulated while visiting our health care system. Click the link to learn more.
