Meet Dr. Grayson Terral

A hometown surgeon dedicated to Northshore care

STPN Mandeville clinic

Dr. Grayson Terral, a board-certified hand surgeon and Covington native, has returned home to serve the Northshore community through St. Tammany Health System. Born at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and the son of longtime pediatrician Dr. William L. Terral, he brings a lifelong connection and deep commitment to local care. His medical journey took him from LSU in Baton Rouge to LSU Health in Shreveport then through surgical training at Ochsner and a hand surgery fellowship in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Terral’s passion for hand surgery began after a college flag football injury introduced him to the specialty firsthand. That experience shaped his career path and fuels his commitment to helping others regain strength and function in their hands and arms.

Now seeing patients at the St. Tammany Physicians Network clinic in Mandeville, Dr. Terral provides care for a full range of hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions. The clinic offers in-office X-ray and ultrasound along with certified hand therapists on-site, making specialized care accessible and convenient for the Northshore.

This is a very familiar place for me. I decided to leave and train, and when it came time to find a place to return to work and raise a family, I couldn’t think of a better place.
