Got questions about COVID-19? A group of local physicians including St. Tammany Health System infectious disease specialist Dr. Mike Hill are teaming with Northshore Media Group’s local radio stations to provide answers.
NMG are hosting an “Ask Your Local Doctor” Q-and-A event to be broadcast live from 9 to 10 a.m. this Friday (Aug. 27) on stations including The Lake 94.7 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM, Kajun 107.1 FM, The Boss 103.7 and Tangi 96.5 FM. An encore rebroadcast will take place a day later, on Saturday (Aug. 28) from 9 to 10 a.m.
Listeners can submit questions for the expert panel by clicking the “Ask Your Local Doctor” link on the front page of Northshore Media Group’s website.
They can also record their question in their own voice and email the file to The Lake 94.7 host Charles Dowdy at charles@lake947.com.
Hosted by Dowdy along with Johnny Chauvin of Tangi 96.5, it will include discussion with medical leaders from St. Tammany Health System, Ochsner Northshore, Slidell Memorial Hospital, Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, North Oaks Health System and Lakeview Regional Medical Center.
