As St. Tammany Health System transitions to the next phase of its COVID response, it’s also transitioning to a new procedure for delivering COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
Effective immediately, adult doses of the vaccine will no longer be administered at the ExpressCare clinic location in Covington. Rather, it will be administered at the St. Tammany Physicians Network’s primary care offices in Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville and Folsom.
Currently, only the STPN office in Mandeville is offering the vaccine, although the others are expected to ramp up operations in coming days following an initial review of the involved logistics.
Additionally, pediatric doses of the vaccine will be available at Express Care on April 15, but thereafter they will be administered at our St. Tammany Pediatrics location in Madisonville.
Those in need of a COVID vaccine or booster should call (985) 898-4001 to schedule it.
