Cardiac Education Program Schedule Change
CARDIAC EDUCATION PROGRAM SCHEDULE REVISED
COVINGTON - St. Tammany Parish Hospital has altered its Cardiac Education Program schedule to every other month from two classes per month.
There will be no classes in August, and the program, held at the Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion Conference Room 2, 16300 Highway 1085, will resume Sept. 11 and Nov. 13.
The program consists of several free classes;
- 9-9:30 a.m., Introduction to cardiac anatomy
- 9:30-10:30 a.m., Pharmacologist discussion
- 10:30-11:30 a.m., Dietitian discussion
- 11:30 a.m., lunch with discussion on risk factors of coronary artery disease, cardiac emergencies, benefits of exercise and stress management
