Calling all new dads and soon-to-be dads. The St. Tammany Health System Parenting Center’s latest Boot Camp for New Dads class is set for this weekend.
The free program is currently being offered online only via Zoom due to social distancing concerns.
The class, scheduled to take place Saturday (May 16) from 9 a.m. to noon, will be facilitated by veteran fathers who will teach rookies about the realities of fatherhood. Topics include caring for new baby and for mom.
Participants can register online through the “calendar of events” link at STPH.org/ParentingCenter, after which they will be contacted via email with a Zoom link and password.
For details or to ask any questions about the class, email adill@stph.org or call (985)898-4435.
The Boot Camp for New Dads is one of a number of regular classes offered by The Parenting Center, which is dedicated to promoting confidence and competence in new parents, in addition to encouraging optimal development of children to enhance the well-being of local families as a whole.
