St. Tammany Health System’s partners at Ochsner Health have announced they will be operating a community testing site for COVID-19 in Mandeville daily through Friday (Aug. 14).
The testing site, located at Church of the King, 2205 Little Creek Road, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – or while testing supplies last – to anyone age 2 and older.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for those seeking tests and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status, although anyone wishing to be tested should bring an ID and their insurance card, according to an Ochsner news release.
Results will be provided via the MyChart app or by phone.
The temporary Ochsner community testing site is a complement to St. Tammany Health System’s test collection site on Highway 22 in Mandeville adjacent to Tiffany Lanes, although that site requires a patient to have orders from a doctor in order to be tested.
