Let’s be honest: The way 2020 has gone so far, we all probably need our blood pressure checked right about now.
Fortunately, and just in time for the holidays, St. Tammany Health System has scheduled a community health screening event for Nov. 18 at the Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion, at 16300 Louisiana 1085 (Bootlegger Road) in Covington.
The event, held as part of the health system’s Health Check 365 community outreach program, will begin at 6 p.m. and will include:
- Biometric screening including blood pressure and labs
- Ultrasound screening package (Carotid/AAA/Osteoporosis)
- EKG
- LDCT lung cancer screening
- Skin cancer screening
- Head and neck cancer screening
- Nutrition and body composition analysis via InBody Scan
- Education on sleep apnea, early heart attack care and women’s care
- And more!
The cost is $350 per person, or $400 with a COVID-19 antibody test.
Appointments are limited, and registration is required. To register, or for more information, contact STHS Community Health Coordinator Ann Pablovich at 985-871-5932 or via email at apablovich@stph.org.
Note: For the most accurate results, it is recommended that participants fast for four or more hours before the event.
