It's official: We've got a new favorite COVID-19 PSA

COVINGTON, La. -- It’s been eight months – eight loooong months – since the COVID-19 pandemic began upending our lives in St. Tammany Parish, and, quite frankly, we’re just as fatigued by it as you probably are.
But just in case you need a reminder why it’s so important to mask up and socially distance, the American Hospital Association has released a new public-service announcement that lays out clearly – and adorably – why we all need to do our part.
Find it in the embedded YouTube video above and in the Louisiana Hospital Association's Twitter feed. And if you really want to do your part, share it on your own social media channels.
It’s also worth noting that there might soon be a light at the end of the COVID tunnel, with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer announcing today (Monday, Nov. 9) that early data suggests its still-in-development COVID-19 vaccine could be 90% effective at preventing the coronavirus.
Granted, it’s early yet; a vaccine could still be months or weeks away. But we’ll take all the signs of hope we can get.
