COVID-19 might be getting all the headlines, but flu season 2021 is upon us, and to help keep our community protected, the St. Tammany Physicians Network offices in Madisonville, Folsom and Covington have scheduled upcoming flu clinics.

STPN Madisonville (1520 Highway 22 West) will host a flu clinic on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Additionally, St. Tammany Pediatrics, which is temporarily operating out of the Madisonville office after being displaced by Hurricane Ida, will host a flu clinic on Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.STPN Mandeville (210 St. Anne Drive) will host a flu clinic on Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.STPN Folsom (82525 Hwy. 25) will host a flu clinic on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.STPN Covington (80 Gardenia Drive, Ste. B) will host a flu clinic on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to noon.Express Care (71338 Highway 21, Covington) will host a flu clinic on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Please note: The flu vaccine is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for everyone 6 months and older. Because flu and COVID-19 are caused by different viruses, the flu vaccine does not protect against COVID, or vice-versa.
