STH Foundation Unveils Honor Red, White and Blue Veteran Display
Program Honors Military Service of Patients, Physicians, Employees and Volunteers
COVINGTON – St. Tammany Hospital Foundation will unveil an Honor Red, White and Blue Veteran Display on Tuesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. in the STPH Lobby.
St. Tammany Parish Hospital created the Honor Red, White and Blue program in 2013 to honor patients, volunteers, employees and physicians who have served our country. In addition, the hospital also honors recently deceased veterans with a special flag tribute ceremony.
“It is our privilege to honor the men and women of our armed forces for their service to our country,” said Melanie Rudolph, foundation specialist. “We feel it is our duty to recognize them for their heroic actions and that the Honor Red, White and Blue program at St. Tammany Parish Hospital is an excellent way to do that.”
The new veteran display will be another way to honor the military service of the patients, physicians, employees and volunteers at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
Funds for the display were graciously donated by the McMath family and their related companies.
