The St. Tammany Hospital Guild has announced the names of the four health system colleagues selected to receive its Nursing and Allied Health scholarships for spring 2024.
This year’s recipients, announced Friday (March 8, 2024) in a brief ceremony in the St. Tammany Parish Hospital lobby, are:
Rebecca Chaisson, RN, a quality analyst with STHS Quality Improvement and Accreditations Services.Brianna Spears, RN, of Transitional Home Care.Kelli Tate, a nursing assistant with Telemetry Medicine.Alicia Larriviere, a regulatory and compliance auditor with STHS Corporate Compliance.
Rebecca Chaisson, RN, a quality analyst with STHS Quality Improvement and Accreditations Services.
Brianna Spears, RN, of Transitional Home Care.
Kelli Tate, a nursing assistant with Telemetry Medicine.
Alicia Larriviere, a regulatory and compliance auditor with STHS Corporate Compliance.
All four will receive $1,500 toward their continued education.
“This is sometimes the difference between maybe continuing a career and not,” STHS Chief Nursing Officer Kerry Milton said. “So, thank you to the guild on behalf of the health system and certain Nursing and Allied Health.”
The all-volunteer guild annually awards scholarships in the spring and fall to health system colleagues interested in advancing their medical education.
