As the Northshore wakes up this morning to the aftermath of Hurricane Francine, the STHS Facilities team has been busy assessing the impacts on health system facilities. See below for the latest information.

Please check back, as this post will be updated as warranted.

Here’s the latest:

St. Tammany Parish Hospital main campus: Normal business operations have resumed.

Emergency services: All of the health system’s emergency services, including at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington and the standalone Emergency Department in Mandeville, are open 24 hours a day every day. As always, they will remain open around the clock.

St. Tammany Physicians Network - Folsom: Power has been restored. Normal business operations have resumed.

Ashland Way campus: As of this writing, the entrance is impassable due to flooding.

All other primary care and specialty clinics, outpatient clinics (Cordes Outpatient Pavilion and Mandeville Diagnostic Center), the St. Tammany Health System Pharmacy at Braswell’s and the Employee Pharmacy: Normal business operations have resumed.

Valet and shuttle services: Shuttle services have resumed at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital main campus. Valet services have yet to resume, although they are expected to return to normal business hours today (Thursday, Sept. 12).

A special thanks goes out to all STHS colleagues, particularly those who remained on duty throughout the storm, for their steadfast service and dedication to our patients and their families.

Please monitor local news outlets, STPgov.org and/or the National Hurricane Center for the latest news, and remember: Your safety is paramount. Please be smart and stay safe as the region recovers from this weather event.
