New Executive Director STH Foundation
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NAMED FOR STH FOUNDATION
COVINGTON –St. Tammany Parish Hospital is proud to promote Nicole Suhre to Executive Director of St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, effective March 6.
“Nicole has been an asset to our hospital and foundation for nearly 10 years, and we are proud to see her career advance within our system,” STPH President and CEO Patti Ellish said. “I look forward to Nicole’s leadership at the helm of the foundation to sustain the healing work of our hospital.”
Hired in 2006 as Foundation Specialist, Suhre was responsible for the foundation’s corporate and special events. She previously oversaw annual support, including employee giving, third party events and direct mail campaigns.
Suhre earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of New Orleans. She is a past president of the Greater Northshore Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Nicole earned her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) certification, a credential for philanthropic fundraising executives.
She is active in the community, being named a “YMCA Hero,” honored as a “Northshore Visionary,” and is a graduated of Leadership St. Tammany. Suhre has also served on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Board in New Orleans and on Patient and Family Advisory Board for Tulane University and Hospital’s Cystic Fibrosis Care Center.
