New Nuclear Cameras Improve Experience
STPH UPGRADES NUCLEAR MEDICINE CAMERAS
COVINGTON - St. Tammany Parish Hospital has acquired two new Siemens Symbia S nuclear cameras to improve the patient – and physician – experience.
The new cameras, which replace older models, will use lower doses of radiation and improve image quality. They will allow scans to be performed more quickly, making it more efficient for physicians while increasing patient satisfaction.
The new cameras will also allow for a new layout in the exam room, which will provide more patient privacy.
