The Blood Center has sweetened the cauldron for its upcoming Halloween-themed blood drive at St. Tammany Health System’s flagship St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
In addition to receiving the previously announced “Rocky Horror Picture Show”-inspired T-shirt, successful donors will also get a free VIP Fast Pass Admission to the Mortuary, the New Orleans haunted house attraction that operates out of a former funeral home building at 4800 Canal St.
Themed “We Vant Your Blood,” the blood drive is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2023) in the Mandeville/Covington conference room on main campus.
All donors are reminded to have a full meal before donating and to bring their picture ID.
As always, walk-ins are welcome, although appointments are preferred and can be made at the Blood Center website or by scanning the QR code below.
