Outpatient Rehab Adds YMCA Location

COVINGTON – St. Tammany Parish Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Services has opened a satellite rehab clinic at the West St. Tammany YMCA, 71256 Francis Road in Covington, to better serve the needs of the community.

STPH Physical Therapist Kevin Mizell now sees patients at the YMCA for orthopedic diagnoses from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“We have a great working relationship with the YMCA,” said Michelle Fell, manager of STPH Outpatient Rehab Services. “By opening the satellite clinic, we have expanded the equipment our patients have access to for their rehabilitation and provide a wider gym setting. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Patients interested in making an appointment with Mizell will need a physician’s referral before calling STPH Outpatient Rehab Services at (985) 892-4622.
