Pediatric Specialty Clinic Opens as Part of Partnership
NEW NORTHSHORE PEDIATRIC SPECIALTY CLINIC OPENS 
AS PART OF PARTNERSHIP
St. Tammany Parish Hospital and Ochsner Health System Celebrate Milestone Event
COVINGTON – St. Tammany Parish Hospital and the St. Tammany West Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday to celebrate the opening of a new pediatric specialty clinic, a joint venture between St. Tammany Parish Hospital and the Ochsner Health Network.
The new pediatric dedicated clinic will offer pediatric specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology and general surgery. Additional pediatric specialties will be added later this year. Patients and their parents will be able to self-refer to the clinic, and local pediatricians will have the benefit of referring their patients to subspecialty care in their service district.
“The purpose of our partnership with Ochsner is to provide a wider range of care to our local community,” said Sharon Toups, Chief Operating Officer at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. “This clinic will be an excellent resource for parents and children close to home.”
