STHS chief Joan Coffman named a ‘Health Care Hero’
St. Tammany Health System President and CEO Joan Coffman was announced Tuesday (March 10) as one of New Orleans City Business’ 2020 Health Care Heroes.
Started in 2007, the Health Care Heroes program – which is based on both industry achievement and community involvement -- honors health care professionals in the New Orleans area in a variety of categories, including first responders, nursing, physicians, professionals and volunteers.
Coffman was among those honored in the professionals category.

The 2020 Health Care Heroes will be honored at a cocktail reception 5 p.m. Monday, May 11, at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
