Countless local residents and businesses suffered damage from Hurricane Ida, and St. Tammany Health System wasn’t spared.
The Covington complex housing our St. Tammany Pediatrics clinic, our Pediatrics Therapy department and our walk-in Express Care clinic suffered roof damage significant enough to warrant the temporary relocation of all three practices until more long-term solutions are reached.
To that end, please note the following adjustments to our regular operations:
St. Tammany Pediatrics – Dr. Jennifer Miles is now seeing pediatrics patients out of our St. Tammany Physicians Network clinic in Mandeville (201 St. Anne Drive, Suite B). The rest our pediatrics care providers are temporarily operating out of our Madisonville clinic (1520 Highway 22 West), although plans are underway to have them return to the Covington/Mandeville area in coming weeks.
Express Care – Our walk-in Express Care clinic is temporarily working out of our St. Tammany Physicians Network clinic in Covington (80 Gardenia Drive) from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
Pediatric Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy – All of our pediatric outpatient therapy services have moved back into our Therapy and Wellness center in Covington (11 N. Azalea Drive).
These relocations are expected to be temporary. Please monitor the news feed at StTammany.health for additional updates as they are available.
