STPH Earns 4 Women's Choice Awards
STPH RECEIVES WOMEN’S CHOICE AWARDS
FOR HEART, CANCER CARE, OBSTETRICS, ORTHOPEDICS
COVINGTON – St. Tammany Parish Hospital has received the Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Heart Care, Obstetrics and Orthopedics, while Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital was selected as one of the Best Hospitals for Cancer Care.
“It means the world to us to learn that our staff’s hard work and dedication has been recognized both locally and nationally by WomenCertified,” said STPH President and CEO Patti Ellish. “Our goal is world-class healthcare close to home, and it is gratifying to see the exceptional efforts of our professionals honored.”
As more women self-manage their care and seek providers they can trust, the Women’s Choice Award is the only distinction that identifies the nation’s best healthcare institutions and signifies St. Tammany Parish Hospital’s commitment and passion for creating an extraordinary healthcare experience.
“The Women’s Choice Award is based on robust criteria that consider patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and what women really want when it comes to treatment and a quality hospital experience,” said Delia Passi, CEO and founder of WomenCertified, home of the Women’s Choice Award.
Awards are based on surveys of thousands of women, as well as research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania on what drives the consumer experience for women versus men.
