You’ve read the headlines. You’ve seen the numbers. And while COVID continues to present challenges to our healthcare team at St. Tammany Health System, it’s important to us that you, our Northshore neighbors, know we’re still prepared and equipped to care for our community, just as we have been since our founding as St. Tammany Parish Hospital in December 1954.
We’re also just as committed as we’ve ever been to keeping our patients and our colleagues as safe as possible, which is why we’ve had to rethink our visitors policy during the surge.
That doesn’t change how proud we are of the work being done every day by every member of our team, though. And so, while we can’t at the moment welcome as many visitors as we once did, we recently put together a video tour of our Covington hospital and its 24 supporting locations throughout the community, for those who have loved ones here, for those who are planning to stay with us in the future – and for those who are just plain curious about all that’s happening here.

At just three minutes, it really just scratches the surface, but we’re proud of what we’re doing to keep our community healthy, and we’re excited to share it.
