The state Office of Public Health will team with the Louisiana National Guard for a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination event this Tuesday (March 30) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Tammany Parish Fairgrounds, 1304 N. Columbia St., Covington.
An appointment is required to receive a vaccine. Call (985) 543-4880 to get on the schedule, or click here.
As of Monday (March 29), all Louisiana residents age 16 or older are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine, regardless of health or occupation, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced.
This is the second community vaccine event to take place this week in western St. Tammany Parish. The other will take place Wednesday (March 31) at the Castine Center in Mandeville. Click here for more information on that event.
