Sleeves up, Folsom. A pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic offering Johnson & Johnson’s one-and-done, single-dose vaccine has been scheduled for STHS’s St. Tammany Physicians Network office in Folsom on Wednesday (June 16) from 8 to 11:15 a.m.
Appointments are necessary to receive a vaccine and should be made via the free MyChart app. Those experiencing difficulty with the app can make an appointment by calling (985) 898-4001, which is answered 24/7, although anticipated heavy call volumes may result in a longer-than-usual wait during peak hours.
STHS also continues to administer COVID-19 vaccines by appointment from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays daily at its Express Care clinic in Covington.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is currently approved only for patients 18 and older.
St. Tammany Health System’s Folsom clinic is located at 82525 Highway 25. Click here for more information, including a map.
