The St. Tammany Physicians Network clinic in Mandeville will host a pop-up COVID-190 vaccine clinic this Friday (June 18) from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Being distributed will be Johnson & Johnson’s one-and-done, single-dose vaccine.
Appointments are necessary to receive a vaccine and should be made via the free MyChart app. Those experiencing difficulty with the app can make an appointment by calling (985) 898-4001, which is answered 24/7, although anticipated heavy call volumes may result in a longer-than-usual wait during peak hours.
STHS also continues to administer COVID-19 vaccines by appointment at its Express Care clinic in Covington on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and on Fridays from noon to 4:30 p.m.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is currently approved only for patients 18 and older.
St. Tammany Health System’s Mandeville clinic is located at 201 St. Anne Drive, behind the Mandeville post office. Click here for more information, including a map.
