Adema Named Human Resources VP
STPH NAMES CAROLYN ADEMA
VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
COVINGTON –St. Tammany Parish Hospital is proud to announce Carolyn Adema has been named vice president of human resources for the hospital.
Her 25-plus years as a senior human resources executive include her most recent position as senior vice president of human resources at North Oaks Health System in Hammond and associate vice president of human resources at Tulane University Medical Center.
She was named the HR Executive of the Year in 2009 by the Society of Human Resource Management’s New Orleans chapter.
“Carolyn has been serving in this role on an interim basis for the past six months, and I couldn’t be more pleased that she has agreed to remain with us on a permanent basis,” said STPH President and CEO Patti Ellish. “One of Carolyn’s goals is to cement the hospital’s position as the employer of choice on the Northshore.”
Adema earned her bachelor’s degree in speech communication from the University of Houston and her master's degree in liberal arts from Tulane University, in addition to her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.
