Pop-up Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine clinics have been scheduled for STHS’s St. Tammany Physicians Network primary-care offices in Mandeville and Folsom in coming days.
The Mandeville pop-up, to take place at the STPN Mandeville office at 201 St. Ann Drive behind the post office, will operate from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 21.
The Folsom pop-up, to take place at the STPN Folsom office at 82525 Louisiana 25, will operate from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 27.
Appointments are necessary to receive a vaccine and should be made via the free MyChart app. Those experiencing difficulty with the app can make an appointment by calling (985) 898-4001, which is answered 24/7, although anticipated heavy call volumes may result in a longer-than-usual wait during peak hours.
STHS continues to administer COVID-19 vaccines by appointment daily at its Express Care clinic in Covington.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is currently approved only for patients 18 and older.
