Dr. George Isa, a cardiology specialist with nearly three decades of experience in medicine, has joined the care team at St. Tammany Health System’s cardiovascular care clinic, 1006 S. Harrison St. in Covington.
Dr. Isa, a 1995 graduate of LSU School of Medicine, has extensive experience in treatment of heart conditions and interventional cardiac procedures. That includes the key role he continues to play on STHS’s interdisciplinary TAVR team, which leads the northshore in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, a minimally invasive heart valve procedure.
Dr. Isa joins an accomplished team of cardiovascular specialists at St. Tammany Health System that includes Dr. Georges Antoun, Dr. Bekir Melek, Dr. Russell Reed, Dr. Paul Stahls, and nurse practitioners Sarah Bourgeois, Mary Scheyd and Nicole Sesser.
