Get Your Cardiac Education in 2015
STPH TO PROVIDE HEALTHY TIPS FOR GOOD HEART HEALTH
COVINGTON - Are you concerned about your cardiac health and want to lead a live a healthier lifestyle? Check out St. Tammany Parish Hospital's Cardiac Education program, which is held every other month from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The program, held at the Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion Conference Room 2, 16300 Highway 1085, will be held:
- Jan. 20
- March 17
- May 19
- July 21
- Sept. 15
- Nov. 17
The program consists of several free classes: an introduction to cardiac anatomy, discussions with a pharmacist and dietitian and a lunch discussion on the risk factors of coronary artery disease, cardiac emergencies, benefits of exercise and stress management. Lunch is provided for free.
