Members of the St. Tammany Hospital Guild announced five fall 2024 scholarships to St. Tammany Health System colleagues working to advance their medical careers. Five St. Tammany Health System colleagues received a total of $7,500 in scholarships on Monday (Sept. 30) from the all-volunteer St. Tammany Hospital Guild for fall 2024.
Congratulations to the following, each of whom received a $1,500 scholarship:
Alexis Edwards (Oncology/Med).Lexie Mizell (Emergency Care Services).Amber Thompson (Adult ICU).Lucy Young (Oncology Medicine).Alicia Larriviere (Corporate Compliance).
Founded in 1955, the St. Tammany Hospital Guild is an all-volunteer organization formed to support the healing work of the care provides at St. Tammany Health System’s flagship St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
Today, it boasts nearly 100 members that work throughout the health system in various capacities, including operation of the hospital gift shop.
Every year, the guild awards two rounds of scholarships – one in the spring and another in the fall – in support of STHS colleagues working to advance their medical career.
