Hospital Guild Awards 4 Scholarships
ST. TAMMANY HOSPITAL GUILD AWARDS
4 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STPH EMPLOYEES
COVINGTON – The St. Tammany Hospital Guild has awarded four $1,500 scholarships to the following St. Tammany Parish Hospital employees:
NURSING SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
- Ramona McCann LPN, critical care. McCann, who started at STPH in July 2013, is pursuing her associate’s degree in nursing from Charity School of Nursing.
- Lacylynn McGehee RN, surgery. McGehee, who joined STPH in June 2006, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
- Blake Warner LPN, intensive and critical care. Warner, who joined STPH in March 2001, is pursuing his RN degree from Excelsior College.
ALLIED HEALTH SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
- Karah Dykes, admitting. Dykes, who joined STPH in January 2011, is pursuing an associate’s degree in applied science for radiologic technology from Delgado Community College.
“The Guild faithfully and consistently donates to the hospital’s scholarship program and we’re very proud of this relationship,” said Chief Nursing Officer Kerry Milton BSN RN MSHA. “We’re extremely proud of these employees for becoming engaged and wanting to further their education to better themselves and the care at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.”
