Local Physician Honored for Quality
STQN Announces 2019 Third Quarter Medical Director’s Award
COVINGTON –– St. Tammany Quality Network presented the 2019 third quarter Medical Director’s Award to Dr. Elizabeth White for her involvement with improving the health of patients in western St. Tammany Parish. Dr. White is a member of the St. Tammany Hospital Accountable Care Organization Population Health Committee and is actively involved in promoting chronic care management and maintaining wellness in the community.
“Liz is very involved in developing strategies to improve the health of her patients as well as the community,” said Michael K. Hill MD, STQN medical director. “She takes a proactive approach to disease management as well as health maintenance. Her input on our population health committee has been invaluable. Her focus is always on improving patient care. ”
Dr. White has been an active member in the St. Tammany Quality Network since its inception seven years ago and has been on active medical staff at St. Tammany Parish Hospital for 23 years. She graduated from LSU Medical School and completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics.
