The St. Tammany Health System Parenting Center is moving.
In early August, the center will relocate from its longtime location in north Covington to a new facility at 71338 Highway 21, just one mile south of St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
To prepare for the move, the center will be closed from July 25 to August 5, with reopening at the new location planned for Monday, Aug. 8.
“You know what they say in real estate: location, location, location. And above all else, this move gives us a great new location,” Parenting Center Executive Director Lori Cage said. “We’ll still be providing all the wonderful services that local families have come to appreciate, but now they’ll be available in a more centrally located facility that should prove convenient to even more Northshore parents and kiddos. We can’t wait to show it off!”
Upon its reopening, the center will resume a full slate of enrichment activities and classes for local parents and children. Find a full calendar of events for August 2022 below.

Whether a parent has specific issues they’re struggling with or they merely want to build on their parenting skills while developing positive self-esteem in their children, the Parenting Center is dedicated to meeting the needs of children and parents of all types.
