Are you a registered nurse interested in making the move into surgery? Applications are now being accepted for St. Tammany Health System’s next AORN Perioperative 101 program, with successful applicants in line for a $5,000 recruitment incentive.*
To qualify for the program, applicants must be an RN willing to make a 30-month commitment to learn and practice as a nurse in the operating room.
In the first six months, participants engage in on-the-job instruction and hands-on training to gain the knowledge and skills to practice as an OR nurse. Following successful completion of the education program, participants must maintain a continuous full-time employment as an OR nurse at STHS for at least 24 months.

Qualified applicants will be contacted by a perioperative educator to schedule observation days and times prior to an interview or commitment to the program.
