Dr. McCall McDaniel of St. Tammany Health System’s Bone and Joint Clinic has been named one of four winners of the Professional Women of St. Tammany’s 5th annual Women’s Choice Awards.
The winners were announced Tuesday (Feb. 8) during a luncheon at Benedict’s restaurant in Mandeville.
Dr. McDaniel, who also serves as chair of pediatrics at STHS, was among 14 local women nominated this year by PWST, which launched the awards in 2018 to honor local women who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business and personal lives, and who contribute to the parish’s success and future development.
Each year, the community is asked for nominations and then, once the nominees are revealed, to vote for the finalists. Each year, the four recipients with the most votes are awarded the honor.
Congratulations to Dr. McDaniel and all of the women nominated this year.
