St. Tammany Parish Hospital Voted Hometown Favorite Twice

COVINGTON – Both Edge of the Lake Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards and Sophisticated Woman’s Northshore’s Best recognize St. Tammany Parish Hospital as best hospital.

“National organizations Leapfrog, Women’s Choice, Healthgrades and US News and World Report have recognized St. Tammany Parish Hospital for quality, safety and the patient experience,” Joan Coffman, STPH CEO said, “but what matters most to us is what our families, friends and neighbors close to home think. Readers of The Edge of the Lake magazine and Sophisticated Woman have spoken, and we are honored by their praise.”

Edge of the Lake magazine readers selected St. Tammany Parish Hospital and its hospice and home health programs for readers’ choice awards. Sophisticated Woman readers selected St. Tammany Parish Hospital as best hospital, and Dr. Jay Saux and Dr. John d’Hemecourt Jr. as best oncologist and anesthesiologist, respectively.

The annual reader rankings appear in the respective magazines, The Edge of the Lake and Sophisticated Woman.
