How teamwork, technology saved one man's life | VIDEO

STHS Communication Department, commdept@stph.org

Tony Magee is thankful for a lot of things, but above all he’s thankful to be alive – and for the surgical team at St. Tammany Health System and its partners at Ochsner Health that, through a marathon display of planning, skill and deployment of technology, rebuffed a cascading list of worst-case scenarios to save his life.

Recently, Mr. Magee reunited with his medical team – virtually, in deference to COVID-19 – to offer his thanks and share his story. Hear his story in the attached video.
