Dr. Lucia Sicinschi has joined the team at the St. Tammany Physicians Network clinic in Covington.
Dr. Sicinschi’s specialty is adult internal medicine, and she has a special interest in preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, dyslipidemia, hypertension management, type 2 diabetes management and Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome.
When it comes to healthcare, she believes prevention is first and foremost.
“I think the way to approach care is to correct any damage done, talk about ways to improve health and take steps to prevent any future problems,” Dr. Sicinschi said. “I’m a big fan of sharing responsibility with my patients for their wellbeing. This is a two-way road. We’re a team, working together, to achieve greater results.”
