As COVID-19 vaccine distribution continues to ramp up, St. Tammany Health System is seeking retired nurses willing to volunteer to help administer them.
Shifts, which vary, are all on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., with four-hours shifts preferred. Orientation and training will be provided, and those who sign up will receive all required immunizations.
The health system is currently administering COVID vaccinations at two sites in Covington: one on the main St. Tammany Parish Hospital campus and another at the health system’s Express Care clinic, located a mile south of the hospital at 71338 Highway 21.
