That’s because it is operated by the St Tammany Hospital Guild, a volunteer organization founded in 1955 that donates all profits from the shop to fund new equipment for the hospital and employee scholarships.
So, while you lift your loved one’s spirits with a specially chosen item from the shop – which features a constantly changing inventory that includes everything from plants and balloons to clothing and books to baby items and personal-care items and beyond – you’ll also be giving back to our time-honored healing mission.

Customers who prefer to order by telephone can call the Gift Shoppe at (985) 898-4602 during the shop's operating hours - which are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays - and our helpful sales associates will be happy to assist them in choosing the perfect item.
