Hours of Operation

Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. St. Tammany Health System's Bone and Joint Clinic provides a full range of orthopedic care, from knee and hip replacements to treatment of acute injuries from sports or other activities. The goal of treatment for each patient is to ease pain or discomfort and to help the patient return to normal daily activities.

Located just a mile south of our Covington hospital campus, St. Tammany Health System’s Bone and Joint Clinic is the Northshore’s one-stop shop for orthopedic needs for patients of all ages, from pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine to osteoarthritis care and robotic-assisted total knee and hip replacement.

 

Mark J. Hontas MD and Roch B. Hontas MD provide orthopedic services that address everything from youth sports injuries to osteoarthritis.

 

McCall McDaniel MD is a fellowship trained and board-certified pediatric orthopedist specializing in a range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including scoliosis, club feet, hip dysplasia, cerebral palsy and more. 

 

Joey LaMartina II MD is a dual-fellowship-trained and board-certified shoulder, elbow and sports medicine specialist. 

 

Their decades of combined expertise, along with St. Tammany Health System’s long-standing partnership with Ochsner Health and the resources available through St. Tammany Parish Hospital, make the STHS Bone and Joint Clinic St. Tammany’s go-to location for the full range of orthopedic care.

Autism Accommodations and Support

St. Tammany Health System has created visual supports in the form of “what to expect ” stories and videos to assist autistic individuals/individuals with autism who might find entering the hospital or clinic unsettling and unfamiliar.
