World-class health care close to home

When we at St. Tammany Health System promise local residents world-class health care close to home, we mean it – and we don’t just mean the basics.

Over the years, we’ve grown from a small rural hospital – founded in 1954 with just 30 beds – to a full-fledged regional medical center with nearly 250 fully private patient rooms and dozens of facilities throughout the community offering a robust menu of medical specialties.

From our primary care physicians’ offices to the labor and delivery aces at our New Family Center to our oncology experts at St. Tammany Cancer Center and everywhere in between – pediatrics, orthopedics, breast imaging, cardiology, pulmonology, neurosciences and more – we work every day to give Northshore residents the quality, compassionate and innovative healthcare they’re used to receiving from St. Tammany Health System, and without ever requiring them to pack their bags.

Below, find a partial list of our specialized offerings. More information on each can be found under the “Specialty Care” menu of this website.
