Parenting Classes

Parenting classes

A virtual user’s manual for families welcoming a new addition.

Parenting classes

St. Tammany Health System offers a full suite of parenting classes, from Prepared Childbirth to Baby Care Basics to our Boot Camp for New Dads, and although we believe in-person attendance is most conducive to learning, we also realize that’s not always possible.

So, for the convenience of those who choose not to attend one of our in-person classes, we’ve developed virtual versions of some of our more popular fee-free offerings. Find them below.

You can also view and register for a full slate of our upcoming classes – including parenting classes but also covering a variety of other health-related topics – on our Classes and Events page.

Finally, we also encourage new moms and new dads to visit the Lamaze International website, which offers virtual classes on such topics as relaxation and pain control methods to help you through your childbirth experience.

So dive in. Start learning – and welcome to the St. Tammany Health System family.
