Immunizations

Immunizations

St. Tammany Pediatrics recommends you bring your child in for regular well-visits to help keep him or her healthy. During these well-visits, your pediatrician will administer any vaccines that are due and check your child’s growth and development. Click here for information on immunizations for children from birth through 6 years old. Click here for information on immunizations for children from 7 to 18 years old. Video visits

Video visits

There are always times when an in-person visit is preferable, but for those times when it’s not – whether you’re suffering from a cold or something more serious – a video visit with your St. Tammany Health System care provider lets you consult with your doctor or nurse electronically without having to so much as pull on your socks. Click the link below for simple, detailed instructions on how video visits work, including technical requirements.

Poison control

Poison control

If your child ingests something you suspect might be dangerous, we encourage you to immediately call the Poison Control Hotline at 1-800-222-1222 or visit the Poison Control Center website, which maintains an up-to-date and comprehensive database to help manage ingestions of medicines or other substances. Both options are free, expert and confidential. We are available to help if needed, but Poison Control experts should be your primary resource.
